WhatsApp has already made a feature that allows you to send disappearing messages that expire immediately after seven days. Next to this, there would be another feature that will also permit you to send self-destructing images soon. You can also set an expiring date for the image to clear off on WhatsApp.
How Self-Destructing Images on WhatsApp Will Work
WABetalanfo shared on Twitter that the next version of WhatsApp will be including the ability to delete your sent images automatically after the set date.
This feature simply means that images can be deleted automatically from your WhatsApp and phone once the date is fixed.
How to Use Self-Destructing Images on WhatsApp
Note, this feature is not yet out, but from the screenshots made by WABetainfo, it seems that the feature will appear on the image sharing screen.
If you want to share an image with someone, once the image is been selected there would be a timer icon displayed at the top of the screen. Click on the icon and set the time frame for the display of that image and after which you can share the image.
Once the specific time frame of the image has been reached then it would automatically delete its self from the recipient.
