How to See Saved Passwords On Chrome – Mobile Devices
- Open the chrome browser on your device.
- Tap on the Three Horizontal dots at the top right corner.
- At the bottom of the pop-up menu, select “Settings”.
- On the next page, choose “Passwords”. The next page should be filled with all accounts on the chrome browser with your saved details including your passwords.
How to See Saved Passwords On Chrome – PC/Desktops
- Open the chrome browser on your device.
- Click on the circular “Name or Profile” icon at the top right corner just before the dots menu.
- On the menu that pops-up, click on the “Key” icon or “Passwords”.
- The next page will present you with all your saved accounts on any site and its respective password.
- Scroll down and click on the “Eye” icon to view the passwords of any account you wish to.
- If your device administrator has a Password setting, you would be required to input your PC/Desktop’s password. Immediately you do this, you would be able to see your chosen account’s password.
After inputting your device’s password, the password details become unhidden and you can now see it. Although that only applies to a device that has password security. For devices without, once you click on the “Eye” icon the saved password(s) will become unhidden.
When you’ve retrieved the password you want, re-click on the “Eye” icon to hide the password again. Do these for security reasons, so someone else doesn’t just open your device, follow the same process, and retrieve one of your passwords without your consent.
