To Set a Dark Theme Manually
On telegram, there are five themes (Classic, Day, Dark, Night, and the Arctic), you can choose dark or night mode on telegram to turn on dark mode on Telegram. To do so:
- Open the Telegram application on your device.
- From the top left corner, tap on the three horizontal lines (Menu).
- Now, tap on the Settings (Gear icon) from the option list.
- After that scroll down and under settings choose Chat Settings.
- You will see chat options like edit messages, change backgrounds, color themes, etc.
- Now to activate dark mode on Telegram, you can choose Dark Or Night Theme under “Color theme.”
- And you can also customize the theme according to your wish.
To Turn on Auto Dark Mode
If you don’t want to choose a color theme you can also just toggle the button to activate auto night mode on Telegram but you can edit settings like you can on a color theme. If you want to turn on auto night mode, to do so:
- Open the Telegram application on your device.
- From the top left corner, tap on the three horizontal lines (Menu).
