Accessing Facebook Account
Yes, this is one thing you all must do before you can turn this feature on. I believe that you must have already own a Facebook account before you started your search about the Facebook nearby friends. Just in case you do not have an account, you can also open one by following the steps listed below.
- Find any of the Facebook apps from your device and launch it. You could also alternatively go to www.facebook.com.
- If you use a PC, scroll down and you would find the sign up form. For other devices you might have to click the sign up link before you can proceed.
- Fill out the form with details required and hit the sign up link once again.
Easily navigate through the Facebook steps to give Facebook an idea on what you are interested in. you would also be asked to complete your profile but you can skip this step if you do not want to do it now. If you have a Facebook account and do not wish to create another one, you can skip the step above and log in to your old account. Now, to get the Facebook app, you have to download it from the Google play store or iOS store. To turn on the Facebook nearby friends feature on the Facebook app,
- Open the Facebook app and log in to the app if you haven’t done so already.
- Find the “more” tab on the app and click on it. Sometimes it is represented by three vertical lines.
- Scroll down to find “nearby friends” on the menu and turn it on.
Any of your Facebook friends that put on this feature would now see you on their own list.
