Facebook’s new Avatar feature is a look-alike of Snapchat bitmoji stickers that allow people to post their custom made emoji’s to the giant social media network in the absence of physical interaction.

Facebook Avatar gives Facebook users the opportunity to create a virtual likeness of themselves. Also, IT employs them both on the Facebook main app and the Facebook messenger app.
Facebook Avatar dropped across Europe around the 21st of April 2020 after Facebook unveiled them in 2019. Australia and New Zealand had the pleasure to test the Facebook Avatar feature first, and the U.S. followed the rest of the world.
Facebook rolled out its Avatar cartoon-like feature to the U.S, in 2020. Doing this brings Facebook a little much closer go the Snapchat social network which has a close relationship with bitmoji stickers, and Apple’s Memoji.
Make your own Facebook Avatar
Facebook releases the Avatar feature in 2020; Here’s how to get yours right away. Want to get started building your Avatar?, Here’s how it’s done;
- Open up the Facebook app on your iOS or Android device.
- Tap on the three vertical lines at the top of your screen.
- Scroll down and tap the see more button.
- Click on the Avatars tab.
- Tap on Next and then Get started.
- Choose a Skin tone that best fits your skin and then tap on Next.
- Go through each section of hairstyle, hair color, makeup, face shape, eye shape, body shape, outfit, and many more.
- Tap the Checkmark tab in the top right corner of the page when you finish customizing.
- Click on Next when the screen finishes loading.
- Tap on Done.
You’ve successfully customized your own Avatar. Tap on the arrow sign in the top right corner of the page to share it with your Facebook feed or set it as a temporary profile picture.
In case you need a reminder of what you actually look like when creating your Avatar, you can tap on the mirror icon at the top right corner of the screen to open your phone’s front camera.
Find your customized Avatar
Facebook Avatar allows people to add an extra flair to their comments and stories. Replacing the conventional emoji stickers.
To see the different customized Avatar stickers you’ve made. Tap on the sticker icon and if you also want to use the Avatar when making a comment on Facebook, tap on the smiley face icon next to the GIF icon. Then tap on the Avatar icon at the bottom of the screen.
Facebook Avatar customization options are pretty extensive.o if you want to build a little mini version of you, then you can get pretty close.
