When you order some items on Amazon, an estimated delivery date is assigned to your order. This is the estimated date for when your order will be delivered to you.
This date will appear on the “Order Summary” just before you place the order. Also when you sign in to your Amazon account, you can find out if there have been any updates/ changes on the status of your order.
All you have to do is to check the “Your Orders” section. Once your Amazon package has been delivered, the status of your amazon order will now read “Delivered”.

Checking In With Your Environment
One of the first steps I always encourage people to take in this kind of situation is to check around their vicinity. Although Amazon won’t intentionally deliver your package to a wrong address or in an insecure environment, it’s still very wise to check.
Check your mailboxes or surroundings, ask neighbors; they might just have a clue about the whereabouts of your Amazon package. Investigate if there was an attempted delivery that you did not know of.
Confirm the Shipping Address For Your Order
Despite the fact that you can’t change your shipping address once the order is being delivered, you can check and confirm it’s correct. Sign in to your Amazon account and go to “Your Orders”.
Next, tap on “Order Details” on the order you want to confirm its shipping address. Here, you will find all details of the order you chose including its shipping address.
Purchase your products from a third-party retailer on Amazon or the Shipping is on a third-party Amazon seller.
This is one of the reasons it’s better to purchase “Fulfilled by Amazon” products while shopping on Amazon. This way even though you purchase from a third party seller, the shipping and delivery of your package will be on Amazon.
In this case, you need to contact the seller. Go to “Your Orders” and select the order you are currently having issues with. Click on “Problem with Order” and proceed to contact the seller about what’s going on.
Wait for 36 Hours after the Package status turned Delivered
This is Amazon’s own guide in times like this because packages might reflect as delivered but still on the way. You don’t want to contact Amazon and end up wasting your time.

If you tried all of the above guidelines out and none of them seems to help you find your Amazon package, it time to contact Amazon.
Sign in to your Amazon account and go to “Help”. Select “Browse Help Topics” and then “Need More Help”. Tap on “Contact Us” and choose the Amazon package that says delivered but not here.
Scroll down till you get to “Select an Issue” menu, then select “Where’s My Stuff”. Next, tap on “Tracking Shows Delivered But Item Not Received”.
Choose how you would like to communicate with Amazon; email, mobile number or live chat. Do not choose mobile number unless you have a mobile number registered with your Amazon account.
It’s up to Amazon now since you’ve taken the case up with them. I am sure; they would respect their status, investigate the situation, and come up with a solution in your best interest.
